Are you not currently working and not looking for work through a Job Centre scheme?
Over 18 years old? (or over 16 years old in Wales)

Our courses can be FREE to you under a new scheme from the government in England and Wales. This scheme is designed to provide support, including funded training, to anyone that is not currently on a job-related scheme or receiving benefits as a jobs seeker.

To qualify you must:
  • Be over 16 years (Wales) 18 years (England)
  • Live in England or Wales
  • Have the right to live and work in England or Wales
  • Not be on an existing Job Centre scheme

The Digital College and its partner organisations would love to hear from people who want free training to get back into work. Once on the programme you could have access to:

  • Job-specific training courses
  • Job-searching skills training and assistance
  • Interview preparation
  • In work support to make your new job a success
  • Additional support for those with a disability or health condition

Who could join the programme?

Yes!
  • carers or ex-carers
  • former Armed Forces
  • member of Armed Forces reserves
  • partner of current or former Armed Forces personnel
  • full-time and part-time students
  • are homeless
  • have served a custodial or community sentence
Also

The scheme is open to people who

  • have a disability or health condition
  • have a history of alcohol or drug dependency
  • are a refugee
  • are Afghan resettlers
  • are Ukrainian evacuees
 Sorry but this scheme is not for you if
  • you are working
  • you have an offer to start work
  • you are receiving the job-seekers allowance (JSA)
