Overview
Social media skills are important both for our personal benefit and for use within a business. This course starts with an introduction to the world of social media to improve personal profiles and career development opportunities. There is specific attention towards using social media for job hunting as well as how to post on different platforms. The final half of the course covers business usage including a unit introducing social media advertising.
Candidates will undertake an online multiple-choice assessment and will receive a certificate if successful (any certificates from an official awarding body are sent to you via email).

To get the course underway, we begin by looking at how social media came into existence before moving onto the main social media platforms that are used today.

Now we're getting into the detail of how to use different social media platforms, starting with Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. For each of these, we will show you how to post, change your status, upload content, and more!

How to Use Social Media Platforms Part 2
This unit focuses on how to use the social media platforms YouTube and WhatsApp.

The Correct Way to Use Social Media
This section is all about how to use social media appropriately, from managing your online profile to how using social media can impact your career. In addition, we examine social media etiquette, including dos and don'ts.

Business and Social Media
Our final unit goes into detail about how businesses use social media, including using paid advertising within social media. We also examine how you can gain customer feedback and reviews through social media.
Obtaining your certificate
You will need to pass a multiple-choice exam at the end of the course in order to gain your accreditation. Once passed, we will send your official certificate by email.
