Candidates will undertake an online multiple-choice assessment and will receive a certificate if successful (any certificates from an official awarding body are sent to you via email).
Course Syllabus
-
Introduction
This introductory unit gives a complete overview of the course.
-
Managing Nerves
We start with the thing that stops most people before they begin: nerves.
-
Building Confidence Over Time
Unit 2 is about the longer game. Confidence is built through practice, and there are low-risk ways to get it.
-
Planning Your Talk
Most presentations go wrong before anyone stands up. Unit 3 is about the thinking you do first.
-
Structuring Your Content
Unit 4 gives you a shape that works for almost any talk.
-
Using Your Voice
How you sound affects how easy you are to follow. Unit 5 covers the vocal adjustments that make the biggest difference.
-
Body Language and Presence
What your body does while you speak shapes how people receive you.
-
Slides and Visual Aids
Most presentations use slides and most slides make things worse. Unit 7 fixes that.
-
Questions and Real-Life Speaking
Our final unit covers the part you cannot rehearse, and how all of this applies beyond formal presentations.
